Office in Chelsea is very nice. Dr Vaknin has the best bedside manner I’ve ever encountered. He’s also a terrific dentist. He takes to explain what’s going on if u want and he loves his job. I’m so happy I found him Joel

I’ve been a repeat patient of Dr. David Vaknin, D.D.S, because he consistently provides excellent care and clearly knows his craft inside and out. He is cordial, professional, and genuinely passionate about dentistry, which always makes for a positive experience. Today, despite having a completely booked schedule, he generously gave up his lunch break to fit me in for a filling. I truly appreciated his kindness and dedication to his patients. I’m very grateful for his outstanding care and highly recommend his office.

I have seen Dr. Ana for a number of years now and I always feel that I'm in great hands. Dr. Ana is meticulous, caring and lovely, she is a rare gem of a dentist (and I enjoy her storytelling too!). Special shoutout to Gabi, who's a great hygienist. Awesome practice in Chelsea NYC ✌️

Dr. Vaknin was the prosthodontist on my case. I had an incredibly complicated full mouth restoration. Dr. Vaknin worked for more than a year to make sure that my teeth were fully restored through countless fittings and so many long appointments. Dr. Vaknin truly listens. Small changes can make a huge difference in comfort. He never hesitated to make a new set of teeth when it would lead to a better fit, reduce pain and improve function. Even when I was satisfied, he was working to make the teeth look more natural! Ask him what he did last weekend and he is likely to tell you about a seminar he took in the latest prosthodontist techniques. He is a dedicated professional, incredibly knowledgeable--and kind. I feel very fortunate to have been his patient and recommend him to anyone in need of a prosthodontist.

Dr. David Vaknin of Rockefeller Dentistry was assigned by Dr. Richard Nejat of Advanced Periodontics to serve as the prosthodontist for my implant-supported full-arch zirconia rehabilitation. After my implants were surgically placed and integrated into the bone, his role was to design a prosthesis that was functional, stable, and esthetic. Over the past two years, Dr. Vaknin has designed 12 failed prototypes, 9 of which have fractured. Despite repeated occlusal adjustments, intaglio modifications, and laboratory revisions, I continue to experience instability of the lower bridge, pain while chewing with visibly exposed hardware, permanent tissue damage, and altered sensation that has never fully returned. I remain in temporaries with no end in sight. Most concerning is the absence of a clear, consistent explanation for the prolonged failure to reach a stable outcome. The treatment progression has been reactive rather than definitive, with repeated "design revisions" instead of a clear diagnostic reassessment of root cause. In fairness, Dr. Vaknin initially appeared engaged and communicative. He reviewed aesthetics, phonetics, vertical dimensions, and contouring decisions in detai
